MCLEAN, VA., April 29, 2025 – Iridium Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: IRDM) today announced that Rohit Braggs has joined as Vice President of Positioning, Navigation & Timing (PNT). In his role, he will direct Iridium’s commercial PNT strategy and execution amid growing demand for resilient alternatives to GPS and GNSS, specifically Iridium Satellite Time and Location® (Iridium STL®).
For more than a decade, Braggs held several leadership roles—most recently Chief Executive Officer—with Safran Trusted 4D (previously Orolia), a leading provider of resilient PNT solutions. For six years, he served on the Board of Directors of Satelles, which Iridium acquired in 2024.
“Rohit is one of the world’s foremost experts in PNT and has long been an advocate of the unique benefits of Iridium STL,” said Dr. Michael O’Connor, Executive Vice President of PNT at Iridium.

Braggs will present the keynote, “The Technology Issues of Providing PNT from LEO Satellite Systems,” May 14 at the ATIS Workshop on Synchronization and Timing Systems (WSTS) May 14 in Savannah, Georgia.
Braggs holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mumbai, a master’s degree from Syracuse University, and an Executive MBA from Rutgers University.
