The Hecto is an Iridium® certified, HALT tested full SBD transceiver package, integrating the incredibly dependable Iridium 9602N transceiver. It allows Short Burst Data® (SBD®) connectivity to the Iridium satellite network and does not support voice, circuit-switched data (CSD), or short message service (SMS). The HECTO can be controlled by any data terminal equipment (DTE) capable of sending standard AT commands via an RS232 serial port. The Hecto can get you to market faster in a wide range of applications, including asset tracking, remote area communications, and industrial controls and monitoring.
