This device can be worn on a detachable lanyard or with a shirt pocket clip. It constantly monitors the worker’s movement and resets a built-in no-motion timer as long as the person continues to move. If the worker has an accident and as a result does not or cannot move, the FOB alerts him with a buzz and a beet. If he fails to acknowledge the no-movement alarm within 40 seconds (programmable), the FOB will send an alert to a nearby truck (up to 1000 meters away) equipped with the RemoteReach truck unit, which in turn sends the message as well as the truck location as computed by the built in GNSS receiver . The alarm message is then relayed to a supervisor or to a monitoring station to take the necessary steps to help the worker.
