Problems when using Direct Internet 2.0 Web Accelerator (Email).

During installation, a dialog appears warning that email acceleration and FTP acceleration are disabled because another LSP was detected.

This dialog is a warning stating that e-mail acceleration and FTP acceleration will not be installed on this computer due to a software conflict. However, the web acceleration will still work properly. If you would like to have e-mail acceleration and FTP acceleration, the other LSPs must be removed followed by a re-installation of Direct Internet 2.0 Web Accelerator.

Please contact your SP for proper instruction regarding this matter.

When Direct Internet 2.0 Web Accelerator starts, a dialog appears warning that another application is using port 25 or port 110.

By default, Direct Internet 2.0 Web Accelerator listens to 127.0.0.1:25 and 127.0.0.1:110 in order to accelerate SMTP and POP3 traffic. This warning shows that another application on the computer is listening to either one of these ports, which causes a conflict. However, the web acceleration will still work properly. If you would like to have e-mail acceleration, you need to disable the application that is listening to the specified port(s).

Please contact your SP for proper instruction regarding this matter.
